How to use the backup manager in Plesk

We assumed that you have already logged in into Plesk Panel.

  1. Click Tools & Utilities in left menu.

  2. Click Backup Manager.

  3. Click Backup icon.

  4. Specify the filename and other details.

  5. By default backup will be stored on same server.

  6. You could also perform a remote backup by choosing personal FTP repository.

  7. Enter an email address to which a notification will be sent upon task completion.

  8. Choose whether to back up just the configuration or both configuration and content.

  9. Click back up.

That's it. Within sometime your backup will be ready depending upon size of files.
