How to rename files in File Manager

 

Rename files: If you want to change the name of a particular file then you can use the Rename Files options.

Here we assumed that you have already logged into cPanel’s File Manager.

Steps(Rename Files):-

  • Select file which you want to rename.
  • Click Rename icon in top menu.
  • Type new name of file and click on Rename File to apply these changes.

You have successfully renamed the file. In similar manner you can change the folder name.
