How to insert fields into database tables with phpMyAdmin

 

Insert Fields: To store a new piece of data about something for which you already have a table, consider adding a field to the table.

We assumed that you have already logged in into cPanel.

Steps (Insert fields into database tables):-

  • Click phpMyAdmin icon.
  • Select a table from database in which you are going to add fields.
  • Then Click Structure and select the position of table where you want to insert field.
  • Click go button, enter the inserting field name and its detail.
  • Click Save.

Congratulations you have successfully added the new field in the existing table.
